The Gissing Private Membership
Monthly Strategic Consultancy
Personal attention. Considered strategy. Lasting stewardship.
A structured monthly relationship for clients who need sustained research, document support and coordination across agreed personal, family, asset and business matters.
From £6,400 per month
Includes up to 32 hours of total professional time during each monthly service period.
Your monthly support
- 4 one-hour Zoom strategy consultations per monthly service period, scheduled weekly. Consultation time forms part of your total monthly allowance.
- Up to 28 hours beyond the scheduled Zoom sessions for agreed preparation, ongoing queries, legal research, document review, drafting and redrafting support, adviser coordination and written follow-up.
- Access to your private one-to-one Clio client portal throughout the active membership. Submit questions and documents as matters arise, whether daily, weekly or monthly, rather than waiting for your next Zoom.
- A concise written action summary following consultations, within the included time.
Support across your personal and business affairs
Your membership can cover more than one agreed area, bringing your personal, family, asset and business priorities into one considered strategy.
- Personal and family matters: organising information, reviewing correspondence and considering practical next steps.
- Property and assets: research and document review relating to ownership, property interests and recreational yachts.
- Wills, probate and succession: reviewing existing information, clarifying wishes and succession objectives, and preparing questions for the relevant professional advisers.
- Business and commercial contracts: contract review, research, commercial risk analysis and drafting support within the agreed scope.
- Trusts and wealth structuring: research, document organisation and strategic coordination with appropriately qualified legal, tax and financial advisers.
- Cross-border matters: identifying issues involving more than one country and coordinating input from advisers in the relevant jurisdictions.
Areas of focus are agreed during onboarding and may be reviewed as your needs develop. All work across those areas shares the same monthly time allowance; the allowance is not provided separately for each matter. New matters remain subject to conflict and suitability checks.
Your private one-to-one client portal
Use Clio for confidential queries, correspondence review, redrafting requests and document sharing across your agreed areas of support. Portal access is ongoing; the professional time spent considering and responding to requests is included within your monthly allowance.
We aim to respond to portal messages within one working day, Monday to Friday during UK business hours. The portal is not continuously monitored and does not provide instant, emergency or out-of-hours assistance.
How the allowance works
Legacy includes four weekly sessions per monthly service period. Where a month contains a fifth weekly date, any additional session is arranged separately by agreement.
All professional work, including consultations, preparation, messages, document review and follow-up, counts towards the total monthly allowance. Your 32-hour allowance comprises four hours of scheduled Zoom consultations and up to 28 hours of other agreed professional support. You will be notified as the allowance approaches its limit. Work is prioritised with you; substantial documents may require a separate quotation. Additional work proceeds only after its scope and fee are agreed in writing.
Monthly oversight
Your membership includes an agreed monthly priorities plan and a concise progress summary. Preparing these and coordinating with your professional advisers counts towards the monthly allowance.
Joining and payment
Legacy is available by private consultation, from £6,400 per month for the capacity described. Any wider or more complex engagement is quoted separately before agreement.
Membership is subject to a suitability and conflict check, an agreed written scope and a signed Client Care Agreement. The monthly fee is payable in advance. Your commencement date, payment method, renewal arrangements, cancellation rights and treatment of unused time will be confirmed in that agreement before any payment commitment. Any recurring payment requires your express authorisation.
Service boundaries
Sian Gissing Strategic Legal Consultancy provides unreserved strategic consultancy, legal research and document support. Membership does not include conducting litigation, court representation, reserved legal activities, regulated investment advice or specialist tax advice. External professional fees, official charges and other expenses are excluded and require separate agreement. Membership is not an emergency service and does not guarantee an outcome.
